I started this blog over 10 years ago, as I was heading on an exciting journey to the Yemen, to keep friends informed as I was travelling. I then kept it up over a long time - more or less regularly until late 2011. Since then it's become rather irregular. All in all it's mostly stories, observations and reflections I make in the various places I live in or visit, rather than day-to-day blabla. Enjoy!

...and i saw a one-legged skier three weeks ago selim, with mini-skis under his poles. hut ab, sag ich! now i'm a one-armed cyclist myself, with the right one still in a sling. i bashed it up on the slopes.
