Chapter... 4, 5?
Well, looks like that's it - over the course of the 24 hours, which I'm currently in the middle of (i.e. between today and tomorrow), my life will change completely. An entirely new chapter, if you will.
Well, that's blabla, of course... only the very unimportant things are going to change, on the surface, in the daily routine - but hopefully this will have some deeper impacts and allow for deeper changes.
So today, almost 2 months after my successful defense, I handed in the final edit of my Master thesis (after multiple re-edits due to terribly nitty-gritty bureaucratic regulations and formatting guidelines) to the Jordan University library, bringing my M.Sc. to a definite end.
And tomorrow morning at 8am I start my new job as the Environmental Manager of 'a European Embassy' here in Amman.
[apparently I'm not allowed to say which one - for 'security reasons'!!]
So it's goodbye student life and hello 9-5!!
Good thing is: I now have a bike, not only to get to work, but to make the whole of Amman see that there's something greener than a car...
Better catch some sleep to be fit for the new job.
(for an idea of what exactly this foreign Embassy's Environmental Manager does, watch this space...)

I am sooo pleased to hear that you have got a bike and that you will be riding to work. You always were a trend setter.
Congratulations for your brand new life!
I'm now chilling out in Thailand-paradise, if you happen to pass close-by, drop me a line :-)
(although with your new status of nine-to-five-slave that will be though)
Good luck.
